- A nationwide criminal database search is a good starting point to uncover any criminal offenses outside the search subject’s address history
- Search is cross-referenced based on first, last name and exact DOB input
- It is very important that you verify correct name spelling and exact DOB reflected in driver’s license
- If search subject has any previous former names or aliases, it is strongly recommended to perform an additional search
- Most importantly, verify their true identity prior to ordering (i.e., legal & former names, known aliases and exact DOB)

In the case of two known last names, please enter in hyphenated (-) mode. For example “Mary Brown Whitney” should be entered as “Mary Brown-Whitney”, “John St. Louis” would be entered as “John StLouis”, “Jose De La Cruz” would be entered as “Jose Delacruz”. No spaces, commas, periods or Jr., Sr. in last names. Based on your entry, our algorithms will automatically cross-search “Mary Brown”, “Mary Whitney” and “Mary Brown-Whitney” simultaneously.

Because not all statewide repositories report all types of criminal offenses for each county, our nationwide criminal database is supplemented with many individual county sources. Thus, you may find duplicate offenses listed from the state and another from the county source. This is done intentionally so that we can offer the most comprehensive coverage in the background screening industry. There are instances where cases may first appear in lower court (i.e., General District, Magisterial) and are then transferred to upper court (i.e., Circuit, Common Pleas, Superior Court) with a different case number.
